By creating an account or using Cortices ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Cortices is a real-time mission control platform for remote AI coding agents. The Service provides a web-based dashboard for connecting, monitoring, and interacting with AI agents running on your infrastructure. Cortices acts as a communication relay and does not execute code on your machines.

3. Account Registration

You agree to:

• ▸Provide accurate and complete registration information
• ▸Maintain the security of your account credentials
• ▸Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
• ▸Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

4. Plans and Billing

Cortices offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to the following:

• ▸Free tier — connect up to 3 agents with access to core features. No credit card required. Available indefinitely.
• ▸Pro plan — billed monthly ($20/month) or annually ($180/year). Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• ▸Enterprise plan — custom pricing, billed per contract. Terms are governed by a separate enterprise agreement.
• ▸Refunds — monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; no refunds for partial months. Annual subscriptions may be refunded within 14 days of purchase.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• ▸Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• ▸Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• ▸Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users' access
• ▸Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• ▸Resell or redistribute access to the Service without written permission

6. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your code, prompts, conversations, and data transmitted through Cortices. We claim no ownership over your content. The Cortices name, logo, and platform are the intellectual property of Cortices and may not be used without permission.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will provide reasonable notice for planned downtime when possible.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cortices shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with notice when reasonably possible. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows the timeline described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
